In NYC, a rendezvous at a gallery will turn into tasting cookies and a short visit to the Met. On our bikes that day, John treated me to several little visual snacks along Route 6A. There are two pieces from this particular bike ride.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eI love this scene because it’s iconic Truro. She never changes. This was one of those moments. How blessed I felt connected to this tide. There is nothing I need to do. I am connected to this beautiful animated world, this harbor. She sparkles at me inviting me into the cold water. There is nothing else except the salt on my skin. I turn back and see the evidence of a fleeting rendezvous. The clouds on the left are light. The ferry lights are no longer in the peaceful moment depicted on the left part of the composition. They are moving and slightly agitated. Their color has become dense. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e  I have different feelings in every part of this weather. Taking in the whole scene, it feels stunningly dramatic and beautiful. When I come into the scene, I feel anxious being with the foreboding agitation of the ferry lights. What is going to happen? Should I go in for shelter?  The right hand of the canvas is a clear day with calm waters. The day is endless. The clouds above are puffy, transulcent ,and less menacing. The day is changing. The dark clouds quickly absorb all of me as I look to them.
